Run-out and handling lines
Unterschütz
Unterschütz builds the half of the plant that decides what your press output is actually worth — the run-out, and everything that handles the profile from the die onwards.

Overview
How it works.
Sondermaschinenbau means the line is drawn around your plant rather than assembled from a catalogue. Puller and hot saw, cooling and stretcher, finish-length saw, profile automation and packaging.
Because Unterschütz manufactures in-house instead of integrating other suppliers' equipment, one party is responsible from planning through assembly and commissioning, and one party answers when a stage needs attention.
Founded at Hettstedt in 1995, the company now supplies 23 countries and holds 21 patents and utility models, with locations in the USA, Italy, the UAE and India.

Specification
What you get.
The features below are the ones that change how the equipment behaves on the floor, not the ones that fill a brochure.
- Complete run-out from one supplier
- Puller, hot saw, cooling, stretcher and finish-length saw built and commissioned by the same manufacturer.
- Profile automation and packaging
- Robot handling of short lengths through to the packaging line at the end of the run.
- Built for automation and energy cost
- A high degree of automation with the lowest practical energy consumption, specified so the line pays back quickly.
- Preventive maintenance and remote diagnostics
- Downtime and maintenance windows reduced through scheduled maintenance and diagnostics over remote access.
- Safety designed in
- Current safety standards, with the line built so that incorrect operation is difficult rather than merely documented.
