Services
We stay on the line after the trucks leave.
Supplying equipment is straightforward. Getting a plant to its design output, and keeping it there, is the part that needs someone on the ground.
How we work
Three phases, one point of contact.
01
Before the order
Layout, equipment selection and a utilisation model you can take to a board. This is where a bad decision costs the most, so it is where we spend the most time.
02
Through delivery
Installation supervision and commissioning alongside the manufacturer's engineers, with the recruitment programme running in parallel so trained people meet the machine.
03
Once it is running
Process improvement, technical service and training on your equipment. Recovery, die life, surface quality and cycle time, ranked by what pays back first.
Scope
What we take on.
Engaged individually or as a package, depending on how much of the plant you already have in place.
- Equipment layout design
- Plant layouts that put the press, handling and auxiliary equipment where the material flow wants them, sized to your throughput target rather than a catalogue footprint.
- Press and auxiliary selection
- Specification of the press and the equipment around it — handling, quench, puller, stretcher, saw — against your alloy mix, section range and shift pattern.
- Die shop equipment
- Nitriding, cleaning, correction and inspection equipment scaled to the die population your press will actually consume.
- Erection and commissioning
- Installation supervision and commissioning through to first good profile, coordinated with the manufacturer's engineers.
- Recruitment support
- A structured hiring programme for press, die shop and maintenance roles, so trained people are in place before the line runs.
- Utilisation and recovery estimation
- Realistic modelling of press utilisation and metal recovery, used to test a business case before capital is committed.
- Process improvement
- Diagnostic work on existing lines — recovery, surface quality, die life, cycle time — with the changes ranked by payback.
- Operator and maintenance training
- Training built around your equipment and your team, delivered on your floor.
